CSI: ROANOKE ISLAND

Did you know that a whole colony of around 115 people disappeared from Roanoke Island around 1590? My fifth grade students have been studying different scenarios of what could have happened to these colonists. Did they go to Croatoan Island, now known as Hatteras? Were they killed by the natives or even the Spanish? Ask your student what they think happened. They should have evidence to support their answer.
