Soil Trailer

Luke Westerman and Keila Sherman with the Greenwood County Conservation District visited the school on Monday. They brought a Soil Trailer and talked about how, "Healthy Soils Are Full of Life." The kids enjoyed listening to the presentation about taking care of our soil and ground water. They were also able to view many replicas of plants and animals that are found in Kansas soil. Students were asked to participate in a poster contest for the state. I have included information about the contest underneath the pictures below.
